HOW TO USE MICROSOFT PAINT TO SCAN A PICTURE OR DOCUMENT

Some people normally the uses of Ms paint or rather some do not even know what Microsoft Paint is.

Microsoft Paint or Ms Paint for short is the default Microsoft Windows Operating System Imaging Software. 

Do you know it is possible to scan a picture or document using the Paint which I will call the MICROSOFT SCANNING SOFTWARE without the installed printer's software.

I know you may start itching now and saying Ezekiel show me how.

The hows is stated below . Enjoy.

1. Click the Start button on the Task bar => Programs => Accessories => Paint.
2. The click File and select from Scanner or Camera shown below.
3. Click Preview as shown below, crop your image then click Scan.
4. Then save you image in you choice format by clicking Save or Save As

HOW TO REMOVING INVISIBLE ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS THAT ARE INSTALLED WITH WINDOWS

Removing additional programs that are installed with windows but are not initially visible in Add / Remove and are of no use to you is easy. An example is the Windows Messenger. The steps is removing such programs are as follows

• Go to "C:\WINDOWS\INF\SYSOC.INF".  In there you will find a listing of programs, and you will note that some programs have the word 'hide' at the end.  Simply remove the word 'hide' but leave the extra comma:

BEFORE:msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7
AFTER:msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,,7

Now when you open Add-Remove Windows Components, you will see a new choice, in this example, "Windows Messenger" and if you like you uninstall.
